Functions & Modeling Workshop Information

Lodging - All non-local participants will be staying at the Embassy Suites, located adjacent to NAU's Mountain Campus. The Embassy Suites is within walking distance of the Problem Solving via Inquiry-Based Learning workshop and downtown Flagstaff.

Meals - Breakfast will be provided at the Embassy Suites. A working lunch will be provided during the workshop days, dinner is on your own.

Travel - You will be reimbursed for up to $500 for travel expenses. Any amount spent on travel above and beyond $500 will be your responsibility to pay. Traveling to/from Flagstaff should be do-able in under $500 from most western regional states.

TO RECEIVE REIMBURSEMENT - Please keep all receipts and proof of purchases for tickets, shuttles, car rentals, etc so we may reimburse you.

Renting a car could also be an option to drive up to Flagstaff, though it is advised that you rent a car one way so that you avoid a weekly charge. NOTICE: The cost of renting a car will only be covered if it used to get to Flagstaff. It will not be covered if it is used to drive around or explore Flagstaff.

Flagstaff Pulliam Airport has regular scheduled flights into and out of Flagstaff via Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport; a short cab ride will take you from the airport to the Embassy Suites near Northern Arizona University's Mountain Campus.
